Our Data Portal

Welcome to our Open Data portal

We are committed to ensuring the secure sharing of quality data both across the organisation and beyond, we know this is vital to address the wider challenges the water industry is facing. Our Data strategy outlines the journey we are taking to get there, you can read it here. Our portal is a place for us to share open data with anyone who would like to access it. Our data is provided with an open data license to facilitate the use. Our data will be provided with supporting information:

  • What the data is
  • Where it comes from
  • The frequency with which we will update the data

This information ensures it is easy to understand.

We will provide the data in formats that will enable it to be manipulated by machines, such as csv, and sometimes will provide the data in multiple formats if this will further the use of the data.

We are mapping our commitment and progress to releasing Open Data using our Open Data Roadmap, this can be found below

We are keen to work with our communities to understand what data sets should take priority. We have a page to enable you to feedback on our data strategy, Open Data Roadmap and also request new datasets here.

Our Data Strategy

We have just published our new Data Strategy, a pivotal milestone that underscores our commitment to innovation and transparency, fostering a data-driven culture within South East Water.

The document can be downloaded here.

Our Roadmap

We will stage our Open Data rollout which will ensure the data we provide is released on a priority basis that will have the most benefit for our communities and customers, how we will do this is outlined in our Data Strategy.
